For over 60 years, the U.S. Small Business Administration has offered assistance to the small business community. Today that looks like assistance in how to open a business, manage your business and grow your business, no matter where you are on your small business path. The SBA can help you:

• Help you improve your business operations

• Offer free mentorship

• Provide industry specific training you and your staff

• Government contracting and certifications

The SBA has partnered with local businesses and organizations to offer assistance to entrepreneurs and small businesses. They meet with you to understand your challenges and help identify your needs. They provide assistance and guidance to a solution to your challenges.

Find assistance in your community

The SBA offices are in your community. To find the resources nearest you, visit the SBA website and search via zip code. Here you will find:

• Community Navigators to help outreach to underserved business.

• Business mentors who can offer area-specific advice as well as webinars, workshops and courses.

• Counseling and training services to help start-ups and existing businesses expand.

• Training, counseling and referrals to transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses looking to start or grow a business.
